Why Join Sigma Alpha Iota?
Sigma Alpha Iota is an organization that fosters interaction between those who share a commitment to music. All over the world, women in our collegiate, alumnae and international chapters work together to support music performance and education. As you can see from our Members page, Alpha Mu chapter is a diverse group with members at many levels of music-study.
We encourage involvement in all areas of campus music and campus life, and work with faculty and other student organizations to improve it. In your collegiate life and beyond, SAI offers you; scholarship and grant opportunities, a professional network, a support system and last but not least, inspiration. Members of this distinguished fraternity range from famous performing artists to your favorite childhood music teacher and we are proud of our connection to each and every one. |

How to Join Sigma Alpha IotaEvery semester we hold recruitment for 2 weeks. You must attend at least one event during this time to be considered for membership. Other requirements include completion of one or more semesters at the university level, participation in a music course and/or activity on campus, and a minimum, overall QPA of 2.75.
